2025 GMC Sierra HD Release Date

The 2025 GMC Sierra 2500 HD start of regular production (SORP) was originally set for July 29th, 2024, including the 3500 HD. However, the schedule changed to August 2024.

Production took place at three facilities:

  • GM Flint plant in Michigan
  • GM Fort Wayne plant in Indiana
  • GM Silao plant in Mexico

The release date was November 2024 and the 2025 Sierra HD is on sale now.

Price & Trim Levels

The 2025 Sierra 2500 HD will have the same trim levels as 2024 since it's a carryover model.

Starter pricing has officially been revealed for 2025:

  • Sierra 2500 HD Pro: $46,300 MSRP
  • Sierra 2500 HD SLE: $53,200 MSRP
