integrate third-row seating and storage areas up to 18 feet long in the 1500
REV. Since electric trucks don't have bulky gas engines under the hood,

The GMC Sierra
EV brings four-door crew cab configurations with a 5.11-foot cargo bed and
9 feet of storage space between the cab and tailgate. Its 60/40 split
second-row seats include four configurations for you to haul equipment and
passengers without feeling cramped.

GMC is focusing on making its newest electric pickup trucks
more than a contractor's vehicle. They're improving designs in the 2024 Sierra

The Ram 1500 REV has a smaller, permanent 14.5-inch center

While the exterior dimensions for the 2024 GMC Sierra EV
haven't been released, we predict it to be similar to its gas counterpart, the 2024 Sierra 1500,
with dimensions in the range of 211-242" L x 81" W x 75-79" H.
It's expected that the Sierra EV will include existing
colors, like Downpour Metallic, Thunderstorm Gray, and Volcanic Red Tintcoat.
Tire information is released by GMC on the Sierra EV model,
with sizes ranging from 18" to 24" wheels with 33" to 35"
all-season or all-terrain tires. Some trims offer additional tire features,
like the Denali Edition 1's CrabWalk™. At low speeds, the rear wheels can turn
at the same angle as the front wheels for diagnostic movement.
While specs aren't released for the Ram REV, it's expected
to mirror standard 1500 crew cab dimensions of 232.9" L x 82.1" W x 77.5"
H.
The Ram REV's exterior colors haven't been announced yet.
But their existing shades, like Patriot Blue Crystal and Flame Red, will most
likely be continuing options.
EV Range & Battery Comparison
For electric driving ranges and EV battery performance, the
Ram 1500 EV in comparison to the Sierra EV is quite similar. The Sierra EV can
recharge 100 miles of range in 10 minutes due to its bidirectional and DC
charging battery pack. Its Ultium battery is so strong that it can even power a
home for up to 21 days! Its total EV range can cover 400 total miles.
Similarly, the Ram 1500 REV can recharge 110
miles in 10 minutes. It covers 350 total miles with a 168 kWh battery pack

the Sierra EV and 1500 REV are conveniently located right where a traditional
gas tank would be.

The Sierra EV's acceleration can go from 0 to 60 mph in less
than 4.5 secs. It offers 754 horsepower and 785 lb.-ft. of torque in max power
mode. The Denali Edition 1 will include two powerful electric drivetrains in
the front and rear electric motors. It'll also feature five customizable
drive modes, like MaxPower for acceleration, a regenerative braking system,
and one-pedal driving.
The Dodge Ram EV in comparison is almost equal to the
Sierra, by launching from 0 to 60mps in less than 4.4 secs. It has a 654
horsepower output and 620 lb.-ft. of torque. This model has dual motors, each
producing 335hp with all-wheel drive. It offers six drive modes, including
one-pedal and one-pedal with stop.
Comparing Towing Capacity & Payload Ratings
The Ram REV is a powerhouse with a maximum tow capacity of
14,000 pounds and a payload of 2,700 pounds. Whether you choose the standard
350-mile battery or the optional 500-mile battery, they both can support these

The Sierra EV has a lower payload of 1,300 pounds and a
maximum towing capacity of 9,500 pounds. Compared with other electric trucks on

The 1500 REV is a strong contender for electric trucks. It
has almost equal recharging speed rates while doubling in towing and payload
capacity to the GMC Sierra EV in comparison. However, the Sierra EV is the
better option because consumers can expect consistency from its original
concept to the production model. Ram previously promised features like folding
midgates to extend the bed to the cabin, which isn't in the final production
