2025 GMC Canyon AT4

The 2025 GMC Canyon AT4 is the mid-level trim, with pricing starting at $45,700 MSRP. It has all the Elevation's features and builds off them with additional off-road-focused offerings.

Its key features include:

• 18" Dark Grey machine-finished aluminum wheels with 18" all-terrain blackwall tires
• Standard 4WD with automatic locking rear differential
• Standard MultiStow™ Tailgate and suspension package 
• Two-speed Autotrac transfer case with a transfer case shield 

The AT4 is the only trim with special editions and offers packages to enhance its off-roading performance further, which we'll detail below. Even without these add-ons, the AT4 is specially designed to navigate rugged terrain with power and ease.

2025 GMC Canyon AT4 Nightfall Edition

The 2025 GMC Canyon AT4 Nightfall Edition is an all-new package, with an add-on price of $4,695. It includes and builds off the AT4's off-roading capabilities, plus blacked-out aesthetics.

Its key features include:

• 20" High Gloss Black machine-faced aluminum wheels with dark pockets, 20" all-terrain tires, and a 20" aluminum fill-size spare wheel

Compared to the AT4, the AT4 Nightfall Edition has two-inch bigger wheels and tires, strengthens your truck's protection from road debris, adds convenience to your cargo bed hauling, and enhances the truck's styling.

The 2025 GMC Canyon AT4X package carries over from last year, with an add-on price of $6,980. The only difference from last year's offerings is that a snorkel was added to improve the engine air intake for a cleaner air supply-which is essential when off-roading in dusty or wet conditions.

A 360-degree camera system also comes standard on the Denali with up to 10 available views, including a first-in-class underbody camera with split-screen views of the front and rear. The new GMC Canyon is a mid-size pickup with a boxy body, a high-clearance front fascia with trimmed-out corners, full LED headlamps, and daytime running lamps. This styling allows it to optimize approach angles and overcome obstacles with a leveled stance. The 2025 GMC Canyon offers 2WD and 4WD configurations with select availability per trim. The Elevation has standard 2WD with available 4WD, while the upper-level AT4 and Denali trims only have 4WD.

The new 2025 GMC Canyon has a standard 2.7L Turbomax four-cylinder gas engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It produces up to 310 hp and a best-in-class 430 lb.-ft. of torque-providing more power and torque than the Honda Ridgeline and Jeep Gladiator V-6 powertrains and the turbo-four Toyota Tacoma.

This powertrain accelerates the Canyon from 0 to 60mph in 6.8 seconds-outbeating the Nissan Frontier and Taco TRD Off-Road's 7.2-second performance. It has five selectable drive modes for 4WD models:

• Baja: Launch control mode (AT4X Package available only)
• Terrain: Traction control mode that adjusts shift mapping and automatic braking in various terrains
• Off-Road: Enhanced traction control mode for mud, sand, and gravel off-roading
• Normal: Daily drive mode with optimized fuel economy
