The 2026 GMC Canyon has one engine option: a 2.0L inline-four Turbomax engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It produces up to 310 hp and 430 lb.-ft. of torque. The fuel economy estimates are the same for all trims at 17 MPG city/21 MPG highway/21 MPG combined.
