The 2026 Hummer EV SUV production schedule began on July 14, 2025, at GM's Factory ZERO Assembly Center in Detroit and Hamtramck, Michigan. Vehicle reservations opened on May 30th and are expected to go on sale in late summer 2025.

The 2026 Hummer EV SUV 3X is the top-level trim, with pricing starting at $104,700 MSRP.

• 22" premium painted finish aluminum wheels and 22" Goodyear Wrangler Territory all-terrain tires
• 20-module 170-kWh battery pack and torque-vectoring 4WD

Several packages are also available to the 2X, such as the Sport Package, including sport pedal coverage, Performance Red emblems, front/rear splash guards, and two front D-ring recovery hooks in Performance Red.

The 2026 Hummer EV SUV Carbon Fiber Edition and a limited edition mode for the 3X trim, with estimated pricing starting at $120,000 MSRP.

The 2026 Hummer EV SUV stays true to its signature big, boxy, wide body. It has four doors and a power eTrunk with a 12-volt power outlet, lighting, four cargo D-rings, and up to 11.3 cu.-ft. of space. A power rear gate with a powered drop glass provides additional storage and airy cabin comfort. 

There's also a full underbody armor setup with steel plates and shields around the drive unit and battery pack to protect them from rugged terrain-making it a practical off-roader.

The 2026 Hummer EV SUV pulls out all the stops with many modern technologies and interior amenities that are standard across the lineup. 
Each trim comes with a 14-speaker Bose with CenterPoint surround sound, a 13.4" premium infotainment system with built-in Google, and an 11" HD driver information center. Tri-zone automatic climate control, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, 5G phone connectivity, and wireless phone charging are also included. 
 
The interior design is inspired by celestial themes and utilitarian features. The cabin features a heated steering wheel, front and rear outboard seats, fitting up to five passengers with two rows. There's an infinity roof with four-class exclusive, removable opaque sky panels that fit perfectly in the power eTrunk. Transparent sky panels are also available for an open-air panoramic experience. 

It comes in three cabin color themes, made of premium leather-alternative seating surfaces with select availability per trim level:

2026 GMC Hummer EV SUV Acceleration, Horsepower, & Torque

 
The 2026 Hummer EV SUV has two motor options with the following powertrain specs:

• Dual-Motor: Up to 570 hp and 7,400 lb.-ft. of torque (available 635 hp and 9,900 lb-ft of torque with the Extreme Off-Road Package)
• Tri-Motor: Up to 830 hp and 11,500 lb.-ft. of best-in-class torque

According to GMC, the dual-motor setup can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 4.4 seconds, and the tri-motor in 3.5 seconds with the available Watts to Freedom-which is impressive for this super SUV. This technology lowers the SUV's suspension and cools the battery for maximum torque.

There are five drive modes to help navigate diverse driving conditions: Normal, MyMode, Tow/Haul, Off-Road, and Terrain. 

An Extract Mode also comes standard when activated, increasing the ground clearance to 16" for off-roading. This feature allows the SUV to ford up to 32" of water compared to the Normal Mode's 26" and Terrain Mode's 28". 

The CrabWalk feature carries over as a standard drive mode, turning the rear wheels diagonally at the same angle at low speeds when 4-Wheel-Steer is enabled. 

A first-ever King Crab mode also became standard on the 2026 Hummer EV SUV. When activated, it turns the rear wheels two times more than the front for easier repositioning on tight trails.

2026 GMC Hummer EV SUV Range, Charging, & Battery Specs

 
The 2026 Hummer EV SUV range varies per trim level, with the following GM estimates:

• 2X: 298 miles of electric range
• 3X: 294 miles of electric range

A standard 170-kWh 20-module battery pack powers both trims. It can charge up to 100 miles of range in just 14 minutes at a DC fast charging station and up to 30 miles of range per hour with a Level 2 home charger. Level 3 chargers take around 54 minutes to charge from 5% to 80%.  

The new Hummer EV SUV also offers multiple available charging options:

• Up to 300 kW 800-volt DC fast charging
• At-home Level 1 and Level 2 AC charging
• In-vehicle Energy App, featuring real-time charging status and energy usage
• myGMC mobile app EV features, including current range, charge level, charging schedule preferences, and route planning based on the current range and nearby charging stations

The Regen On Demand technology carries over, allowing the SUV to convert the energy created from braking into electricity to charge the battery. The One-Pedal Driving feature also continues into 2026 models, capturing energy from regenerative braking.

The 2026 Hummer EV SUV MPGe ratings aren't yet available, but should be the same as the 2025 model EPA estimates:
