2022 GMC Terrain Exterior Colors & Dimensions
The 2022 GMC Terrain dimensions measure 182.3" L x 72.4" W x
65.4" H. For 2022, we expect the eight exterior colors (Summit
White, Quicksilver Metallic, Ebony Twilight Metallic, Marine Metallic, White Frost Tricoat, Desert Sand Metallic, Hunter Metallic, and Cayenne Red Tintcoat), although GMC may add more color choices at a
later date.
2022 GMC Terrain Elevation Edition
The Elevation Edition package first became available in Summer 2021 on
select 2022 GMC Terrain trim levels (SLE, SLT). With the 2022 GMC Terrain
Elevation Edition, you get 19-inch gloss-black painted aluminum wheels, a
darkened front grille, black roof side rails, black GMC center caps with red
GMC lettering, black exterior accents, black mirror caps, and black exterior
badging.

2022 GMC Terrain Interior Seating & Cargo Space
The 2022 GMC Terrain interior features room to hold five
occupants. Additionally, the 2022 GMC Terrain cargo space should remain
unchanged, which means you will have 29.6 cubic feet of storage space behind
the second row, with a total of 63.3 cubic feet. Even with the GMC Terrain SLE,
you get many standard features, such as Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, Apple
CarPlay, a seven-inch touch screen, a six-speaker sound system, a Wi-Fi hot spot,

2022 vs. 2021 GMC Terrain Changes & Refreshed Design
For the 2022 model lineup, the GMC Terrain received a
styling refresh that includes a new front bumper and grille. It also comes with
updated LED taillamps and headlamps, plus unique 18- and 19-inch wheels. The
off-road AT4 joins the Terrain lineup, while GMC dropped the base SL model from
the 2021 inventory. The optional turbo-four engine has been removed as well,
leaving behind one power option.

2022 GMC Terrain Engine Options & Capability
The 2022 GMC Terrain is equipped with a 170-horsepower
1.5-liter turbo-four and a nine-speed automatic transmission. You can choose
between front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive.
2022 GMC Terrain MPG Ratings
The front-wheel-drive 2022 GMC Terrain achieves a 25 city/30
highway mpg rating, while all-wheel-drive changes the numbers to 25/28 mpg
instead.
2022 GMC Terrain Towing Capacity & Payload Rating
When properly equipped, the 2022 GMC Terrain can tow up to
3,500 pounds and has a payload capacity reaching up to 1,146 pounds.
2022 GMC Terrain Safety Ratings & Technology
The 2022 GMC Terrain hasn't been evaluated for crash test
ratings yet. However, we expect it to do well, just like the 2021 GMC Terrain.
It will also be equipped with plenty of standard safety technology, such as
automated emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, and lane
departure warning.
