steering, heads-up display, and 20-inch gloss-black painted aluminum wheels
features from last year's model.
An Elevation Premium Package is also available with Adaptive
Cruise Control, Jet Black leather front bucket seats with a center console,
six-inch rectangular assist steps, and more.

With revamped interior designs announced for the 2025 Sierra

GM Authority shared the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 has refreshed
exterior designs. New 22-inch wheels are now offered along with distinct grille designs per trim. The Dynamic Blue Metallic and Deep Bronze Metallic colors
were dropped with no replacements.

The body styles are light-duty and heavy-duty to suit your

dimensions remain the same as last year except for an expanded width of

The 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 lineup will have four engines and
two transmission options:
- TurboMax 2.7L Engine: 310hp and 430 lb.-ft. of best-in-class
standard torque
- 5.3L V8 Engine: 355hp and 383 lb.-ft. of torque
- 6.2L EcoTec V8 Engine: 420hp and 460 lb.-ft. of torque
- Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel Engine: 305hp and 495 lb.-ft. of
torque
Each engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission
except the TurboMax with an 8-speed automatic unit.

the same Ultium Platform as the 2024 GMC Hummer EV Truck and SUV because that's
reserved for the electric GM vehicle lineup.
Towing Capacity & Payload Rating
The 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 will have slightly stronger
trailering capabilities than last year. The 13,200 lbs. max towing remains the
same. However, the max payload increases to 2,530 lbs. when equipped with the
turbo-diesel engine. Cargo bed lengths range between 5.8-ft. to 8.2-ft.,
depending on the configuration.
2025 vs. 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 Changes & Updates
Although the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 is a carryover design, you
can expect plenty of valuable upgrades compared to the 2024 GMC Sierra.
