The 2025 GMC Terrain Elevation is the new entry trim
level and pricing starts at $31,395, up from last year's SLE trim
as it comes with more standard features, such as a heated steering wheel,
heated front seats, remote start, and adaptive cruise control. The all-new 2025 Terrain Elevation combines the 2024's SLE and SLT trims into one model. The Terrain Elevation
Black Edition will also carry over for 2025.

2026 GMC Terrain AT4

According to GMC, the 2026 GMC Terrain AT4 will be
the most capable version ever. Its improvements will have more drive modes,
including Normal, All-Wheel Drive, Off-Road, Tow/Haul, and a trim-exclusive
Terrain Mode. The off-road tuned suspension height was raised by 0.5" and
Hill Descent Control remains standard to enhance driving control on tough
terrains.

The 2026 GMC Terrain Denali will continue its highest
standard for compact SUV luxury. Pricing is expected to increase from the
2024's $38,600 MSRP due to its redesigned interior and exterior. Its dampers
were upgraded to smooth ride quality and a unique glitzy-patterned grille design.
Revealed information about the 2026 Terrain Denali includes:

The 2025 Terrain is taller and boxier with similar front-end

exterior specs are 181.0" L x 74.5" W and 66.2" H, showcasing a slightly bigger
structure than last year's.

Interior Seating & Cargo Space

The 2025 GMC Terrain will have up to five-passenger seating
with 60/40 folding rear seats for maximum versatility and cargo room. One of
the most notable features is its supersized 15-inch infotainment screen and
11-inch digital gauge cluster with a Driver Information Center-the same system
as the 2024 GMC Acadia
and GMC
Sierra EV.
As a redesign year, the interior was also revamped,

According to MotorTrend, the interior's cargo capacity
slightly increased from 29.6 cu. ft. to 29.8 cu. ft. in 2025. With the rear
seats folded down, the cargo capacity totals 63.5 cu. ft.
Engine Options & Capability
The 2025 Terrain will have a new, standard turbocharged
four-cylinder 1.5L I4 LSD gas engine and eight-speed automatic transmission
across all trims-replacing the nine-speed unit from last year. The powertrain performance remains the same, outputting 175 hp and 203 lb.-ft. of torque,
except for the Elevation FWD configuration, producing less torque at 184 lb.-ft.
2025 GMC Terrain MPG Ratings
The new GMC Terrain MPG ratings have also improved from the 2024 models:
- Elevation
FWD: 26 mpg city / 28 mpg highway / 27 mpg combined-an extra 2 mpg city and
1 mpg combined, but one less 1 mpg highway.
- Elevation,
AT4, & Denali AWD: 25 mpg city / 28 mpg highway / 25 mpg combined-an
extra 1pmg city, with highway and combined ratings remaining the same.
2025 GMC Terrain Towing Capacity
The 2025 Terrain's towing capacities vary on the configuration. The FWD models can tow up to 800 lbs.,
and the AWD ones up to 1,500 lbs. The max payload rating increased from last
year's 1,146 lbs. to 1,184 lbs.
